Basic Camera Handling
You will learn camera operation, concentration will be on aperture and shutter speeds, focal length of lens, raw file formats, using your histogram, white balance, flash photography and compositional elements. Through hands-on exercises you will learn the basics of workflow with your digital images.
1 day class: 10:00 - 3:00, Saturday, March 26th $165
Hand Coloring
This is a wonderful one day, hands-on workshop. It is a favorite of many of Laurie's students of all ages! You will explore different hand coloring techniques, concentrating mainly on the use of color pencils. You will learn the different ways to tone a photograph and which papers hand color the best. By the end of the class you will have a few hand colored photographs completed.

A Workshop for Photographic Self-Discovery
Your photographs are speaking. Can you hear them? What are they telling the world about you, the photographer? Are they expressing the unique way you look at the world?
Join Laurie Klein for a fun and challenging workshop that is designed to help photographers find and cultivate their own style. The emphasis will be on your unique process.
What makes you different can make you successful and happy. Laurie will inspire and encourage you as she shares her own artistic journey. She will challenge you to develop your personal, signature visual voice.
Saturday and Sunday, April 2nd & 3rd, 10:00-3:00 $295
Intermediate Photography
Go beyond the basics! There will be a model to photograph and you will discover the wonders of portraiture. Here's your opportunity to learn about camera flash, lighting, advanced color controls and aesthetics from a world-recognized fine art and commercial photographer. This will be a really fun workshop and perfect for anyone with a basic knowledge of camera handling.
Sunday, April 10th, 10:00-3:00, $165 plus $15 model fee (FULL)
