Marissa Nadeau is a 17 year old Brookfield High School senior in my mentoring program this fall. As the students in my program are committing to their theme for their exhibit at The Silo in New Milford, CT. Marissa's passion and clarity is becoming clearer and clearer.
In her words:
"I commit about an hour a day to my work and my theme is multiple personalities/what is reality? I capture the essence of two individuals that are really one and emotions that are found deep within us. I use long exposures and multiple flashes to go even further visually with it."
We can all learn from a 17 year, to reach deep down inside and to commit daily to something we love....our creative passions.
I hope you can join us for the opening reception of the mentoring student's exhibit on January 21st. Their exhibit runs through February 19th and their gallery talk is also on the 19th.
